It is very important that your kitty drink water regularly, as getting sufficient water helps ensure proper kidney function. It also prevents crystal formation that could lead to disease.

I’ve got to get one of these! I tried one of those gravity-fed reservoirs and heard Fatatboy splashing away the second day it was in place. I went to look and he had paddled about a half-gallon of water onto the floor. What a mess. lol Needless to say, that goes in the next garage sale or outside for the stray kitties that happen by to get a fresh drink of water.
My other meowser, Miss Kitty, has some peculiar water bowl habits tool. She likes to drown her fetching toys every now and then. I suppose everything needs a bath occasionally.
Maybe this fountain will improve their watering hole etiquette.

Goodness, yes — if we can improve watering hole etiquette, that’s a plus. I think Pogo would like one, too, but he has two very special made-just-for-kitties stainless steel water dishes. Together, they cost more than the fountain! You’ll have to let me know how well it works for you.
