Who says you can’t train a cat?

A FAMOUS CAT

Remember Walt Disney’s Aristocats from 1970?  A Parisian cat named Duchess was her model.  The cat gets abducted to French countryside.  After many adventures, she escapes with the help of an alley cat named O’Malley.

LEGEND OF THE PUSSYWILLOW

Have you ever heard this legend?  Once, some nasty person threw a bunch of kittens in the river to drown.  The mother cat became so agitated that the willow trees on the river bank felt sorry for her.  So, they trailed their branches in the water so the kittens could hang on, and thus saved the babies.  Since then, each spring the willow wears soft, grey buds that remind us of kittens.  We now call these trees “pussy willows.”
